Brilliant. They are going to buy the same plane from the Australians which is 30, not 40 years old. I wouldn’t want to fly any fighter operationally with a 30 or 40 year old airframe. The irony is the Canadian and Australian Hornets were produced by McDonnell Douglas and the Super Hornets which Canada won’t buy now are produced by Boeing. This is the same party that purchased some really bad submarines from the wink, nod, nudge British.
